Sir, I was very impressed with your definition of a skeptic....I will be forwarding it to my family, they will be much appreciative. My father was a Electrician's first mate on the first nuclear subs....during the cold war, he went under the polar caps, and was on several other 'secret missions'....he was a free thinker and was adament that my sister and I be informed decission makers in EVERY instance and that we understood what it was to stand up for what was/is right....I was even encouraged to question authority, respectfully, at a very young age and too this day, my sister and I adhere to this and have instilled it, to the best of our ability, in our kids

2 pairs of single vision plastic lenses with frames 59.95, upgrade to poly lens 79.95, the same for plastic lined bifocals or 99.99 for 2 pair of unlined bifocals with plastic lens upgrade to poly for 139.99 MOST eyemart labs WILL re-use frames. In most states there is a Dr either located in the store or next door. Exams range from 59 to $100. Hope this helps let me know if I can answer other eyeglass questions for you.

I think you would like this book:
book by political scientist Benjamin Barber, in which he puts forth a theory that describes the struggle between "McWorld" (globalization and the corporate control of the political process) and "Jihad" (tradition and traditional values, in the form of extreme nationalism or religious orthodoxy and theocracy).

    Jihad vs. McWorld (article)

    http://www.amazon.com/Jihad-vs-McWorld-Terrorisms-Challenge/dp/0345383044

I had to read it for a polysci class and it really molded my views on corporatism, consumerism and oligopolies

I believe the "end game" will be 2 of each===>
    Mickey D's vs. Burger King
    Shell Oil vs. Chevron
    Coke vs. Pepsi
    Best Foods vs. Miracle Whip.......
I see it happening every day!!!...lol...;)

aramchek: I understand that many of us have no other choice but to think about debt to get ahead.

But are you looking for money right now or are you looking for a place that will satisfy your needs and keep your family safe? The city is the place to make money in a society that is loosing the value of its dollars.

But if you choose a place more rural that would allow you to meet your financial responsibilities and keep your family safer while you meet and make friends that have more in common with you then the crack dealer on the corner.

I have no idea of your circumstances. I just hate to see anyone go into debt during this time with no assurity of being able to pay it off.

    God Bless you and yours.

Ditto on the thoughts below. I am building a local HAM Radio Essentials class to be given at a local EM store. Wondering if you might have any insight. Please PM if interested. Thanks.

You are not a drooling, uncritical tool. In this era, that is exceptional.

Keep up the good work; I look forward to your posts.

Thanks -- I'm trying to give people new ways of thinking, and I actually expect this to be the norm in a few years.

I admire your well thought-out posts and appreciate your efforts to smash some of the partisan mindset here on these boards.
