boost, just curious, trying to get my bearings to get started reloading. 556/223 is one of the rifle calibers I'm most interested in reloading. Any suggestions as to die and type of press to purchase for this round ?

Keep in mind, however, especially since this is a survivalist forum, I want this not as some shtf weapon but partially for collection purposes and mostly, for having fun at the range. I have plenty of other weapons reserved for PAW, although this could be a force multiplier in areas where range is necessary...as long as the matchloads hold out. Another thought would be to get into reloading.I don't know about you, but I plan to get into reloading at the end of the year if possible. My cousin and I are pretty close. He is expecting to have a home soon and we will set one room up with a gun safe, and reloading splitting the costs on the equipment though truth be told he is gonna get the better end of the bargain as essentially its all staying with him. At any rate with reloading you can make your own custom rounds so I imagine with some practice and play time you could also make some fantastic rounds for that upper.

I want the MOD 0 myself. While the MK ammunition may not be available, I have a good feeling Black Hills 77 grain Sierra Matchking would perform well. As far as the uppers themselves my understanding is that BCM makes them pretty darn close to what the SEALS use, however, only Centurion Arms makes them exact and that is in regards to the barrel. Centurion doesn't make the MOD 0 though, and I love that style. Ive always thought that once I get that upper I will simply reserve all the fancy high end .223 and 5.56 match rounds I can find at various gun shops (I am fairly mobile so I spend a lot of time in 3 different states and know shops in all 3!), try them out to find what works best for my rifle and simply stock those.
