Seems like you have liked some of my pics in the past so here is a whole new pic thread which I hope you will like. In post #2 the pics are better looking with animals but anyway just letting you know about it since it is, so far, one of my less popular pic threads.

It shows what I did last summer even until the end of Oct. 2013 & I will probably add more new pics later or at least by mid May > http://www.survivalistboards.com/showthread.php?t=343804

Thanks Hank. I thought they were going to use my avatar picture. It at least makes me look like I'm human.

Not really sure. I do live in Norfolk but on the waterfront on the river side. I never hang out anywhere anymore...too old for that. Plus the youngsters just irritate me. :)

Hank I have not been to the VA since 1984 when they pizzed me off. Right now I am dealing with them over lingering problems from a case of Rocky Mountain spotted fever that the Medical officer was trying to treat me for malaria the first 3 days. Contact your local DAV they will help with your problem.

We turned on the AC for a couple of days a week or two ago, but it cool off again and has actually been in the upper 30's to low 40's the last couple of mornings. Days have been in the mid to upper 70's.

Yep. Rewrites are a lot harder than the straight writing phase. Things flow easily in that phase. Then you have to do the rewrite to make everything fit together the way it should. I'm pretty lucky. I have an editor that steers me in the right direction pretty much every time.

Hello Hank. I have a guy on my off grid forum on another site who has lived off the grid on solar in Alaska for about 15 years or so. If you would like to talk to him, pm me and I will give you a link. Nadja

Right now we're just not sure. We're planning on making a trip over there this coming summer as a family to scope things out - but with this economy and with so much turmoil in the market right now and especially with the dollar and the exchange rate, we're just not sure.

I think Beretta's new A1 is supposed to do that actually. It's built on a Brigg frame maybe? I haven't done all my homework yet.

Yeah, but usually a broken ankle and/or leg means your feet weren't together when you hit the ground! LOL :) Take it from an old jumpmaster - reaching for the ground has broke many a leg and fractured many an ankle. :) Have we had this discussion before or is this deja vous?
