Same to you, Sir. Thanks for accepting!

Saw your intelligent comments on The Soldier's Son and knew I wanted to be a friend. What a freaking awesome thread! I have been around the block more times than I can remember but I have never encountered a dialog (story-line and reader comments) that have the intellectual- and gut-level power of that thread. I am sure there are other, equally-moving threads out there, I've just not seen them.

Thank you much for the get well note. Yes, I will pull through. Just a few more aches to add to the party. I have spent most of my life in Minnesota. Beautiful, healthy, much land left restore the spirit. We also have the winters of character building. Raw winds trying to ice you stiff. Snow up to your waist. Enough ice for a hockey tournament. oh yes... Minnesota. Ya sure ubetcha! :)

Hey Griff! Look into finding a CVA "Electra" if you want an all-weather survivalist weapon. No primers/caps needed. Synthetic stock. Stainless barrel is available (mine is). Shoots Conicals best. Can mount a scope (mount already installed). Love mine!

LOL, nope. Been lazy. Did call and found a clutch cable. Did not know it came in two sections and they kept describing the short one-14". The one that connects the throw out arm is 54". Will get around to it one of these days. Getting ready for "bambi" season now. Later Griff--My E add is a1mover@windstream.net name is WC.

    Hi Griff and Zsah-Len,
Lol.. on the liquor sales. We just got back picking up our turkey dinner. We went to liquor store also and bought red and white wine. Our family coming love wine at dinner. I had no idea which (red or white) went with which meat...lol Got a couple of bottles of whiskey also for the guys for after dinner. It will be fun. We are having a house full too.
Have a great time!! Take care!!

    Hi Griff and Zsah-Len,

Just wanted to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving. If you are traveling, take care. We are having family in this year, just like last year. I love being home. I always cook and bake, but, this year Larry insisted on ordering a full dinner from our local deli. Wow, I will not know how to act.
    As always, enjoying your posts.

Yeh..Glad I remembered it correctly. I thought it was such a pretty name, especially the way she says it. Her parents really named her well.
    Regards to you, Griff!

    Hay Griff,

I was not done and had to delete a couple of lines. I am with you on the cooler weather! It is 79 right now and finally getting under 50 at night.
