Thanks for the invite! Unfortunately, I work most weekends. Thanks for taking the initiative, and maybe we'll meet up in the future.

"Movie was better because it based off a true story,"

So, you're saying the book is a work of fiction?

Been balls to the wall over the last few weeks, so its either being on the internet or reading with my free time, and lately I have needed the release from reality.

Kind of worked up about all this AWB BS. Has me not sleeping well at night or not at all. For me it severely feels as if S has HTF. I have written my representatives, and prayed on the matter, I just hope its enough.

Hi Mate, The snugpack tent is great. At first the floor seems very flimsy, but as time goes on I have come to realise it is actually quite strong. I still spread my hootchie out underneath though. With a little practice you can have it up in around five minutes in tropical rain. I haven't tried it but pitching in gloves wouldn't present any problems that I can see.

The only negative is the fact its only 3 feet tall. Its also pretty dark inside. If I was buying again I would consider the scorpion 2 or 3, that extra foot of space is nice and the big door lets in lots of light. Though in a cold climate the low profile would become an advantage.

Overall I'm very happy with it. This was the first snugpack product I purchased. Based on the quality I had no hesitation buying one of their shell jackets, nor would I hesitate recommending their gear.

    Cheers for comment.

Back from the woods, I miss it, but its good to be back and share a few of my experiences. Sad Patriot 101 and her hubby couldn't come out and join me in my fun and solitude.

I've been off the site for a while. Burned out, and after some time, reading all this stuff can be depressing! I'm back and just saw your message. Thanks for the add as a friend, it's good to see eye to eye with you on a lot of the subject matter here!

Seems like you have enjoyed looking at my past pic threads so I want to be sure you see this newest one also. Just glancing over the many pics then it would be like following me around last summer. I also show my truck stuck in mud plus a great deal more.

There are many many pics on pages 1, 3 and 4. >

hey, saw your name. Are you still in the Corps? I also noticed you belong to Adirondack Park Group. Are you from upstate? I'm about 35 miles west of Albany.
