LMAO! :) I don't mind it if it's cooked into something (Italian foods, for instance), but what bothers me most is things like it in a salad, raw, or on a burger or something similar.

Any information or manuals you are looking for ? Give me a try .. recently did an info swap and gained around 15 gigs of new info .. everything from Edible and Medicinal Plants to Caching to training your own guard dog ... plus military manuals out the wazoo ...

    Let me know ...

Good to hear from you ... :)

The focus for the winter months is going to be thinning out my spare gear and tools to put towards other areas I lack in. I don't own a generator, that is a big one on my list. Also need to finish my 'house hardening' ... have some renos in the works that will double as making my home a more secure location to 'bug in'. The home I bought is a 40's construction, well kept and well above average in the solid department.

Managed to hook up with a couple of new like-minded people from the CGN boards that were close enough to meet up with face to face at the local shooting range ... cultivating new and mutually helpful friendships ... not an easy task these days. Like you say ... doing better than some, not as well as others.

Much the same ... I'm talked out on most things ... I have gigs of information collected, and I'm starting to actually utilize it. I just tripled the area in my yard to use for my garden next year, and I'm trying to set up the soil to have optimal properties when I plant in the spring. Got three 6 x 12 trailer loads of new dirt from my buds Farm ( from right beside the manure pile .. ) and raised the soil level up about two inches across the 8 x 35 ft area. Tomatoes, Green peppers, carrots , some corn and maybe zucchini will be on tap for this round. I'm also trying to nurse an old Peach tree back to giving better fruit. Aquaponics sounds interesting .... supplemental food from your own backyard and/or growing areas WILL be a key component ... storage and hoarding will only take you so far. Going to take a stab at canning my own stuff next year as well if the crop comes out ok ..

Hey Per ... good to see you still hanging in there. Yeah .... the unfortunate part has receded and life goes on. More lessons learned, and more experience gained .. not all of it pleasant, but it is what it is. :)

Where have you been hanging your hat? Come up with anything exciting or extremely useful in the prepping department?

Hi Per Ardua, just wanted to stop by and compliment you on the tat design you are using for an avatar. I did a whole table runner using those tat designs for use at our annual canadian thanksgiving camping trip feast. Like it much!
