:( I missed them. I had to go to Waterville. MY dad had a heart attack again. UGH!!! He has a bad time this time of yr. 12 yrs ago my youngest brother died. Way to young too. I just got home today. He's doing fine but really needs to wake up and change his life. Man I wanted to go to the show too. I did great down and bought a couple books this weekend when I was out and about. Skinning Tannning guide and a book on widdling. :)

Very nice, thanks for the reply. I had just read that maple syrup was one of the foodstuffs that lasted forever. It is so expensive out here that we rarely buy it but now I plan on putting some up as preps. Good find, thanks.

I'm over there a few times a month. I go to John Edwards a lot and Finns. The Irish in me can't stay away from the pubs. :) Hopefully we bump into each other sometime.

That sounds beautiful! I haven't made it as far north as Maine, yet (but plan to one day). Two summers ago I visited MA and NH, my first trip to New England. Amazing coastline!!

Yes, if you hope for your wife to stay, you'd better put in a good bathroom! :)

Hi! I'm on the east coast, too. I live in marshland/island on the GA coast. Where's Acadia? You live right next to a national park? sounds very nice.

'79-'99. Started out as an AK, crossed to GM after 12 to get off flattop ships. all my sea duty was spent on the East Coast, except for 12 months in a helo squadron (HS-12) in San Diego (first 3 months on the USS America, though, went to Australia, got Shellbacked)

Usually each year at the Common Ground Fair, each day has a 'mushroom foraging' workshop. Sometimes they will even have two different hour-long workshops on this topic.
