M47, thanks for the help & the thanks in my thread. It's much appreciated. (It's actually very draining psychologically to deal with that army of - I'm sorry to have to say this - dolts. They just cannot or will not think. Ignorance and prejudice - the two pillars of the anti-Catholic.)

Liandrin... I should not say this, but.. oh boy are you a cutey. You'll make some guy very happy some day (if you aren't already).

oooh-rah! Yea I believe I was of the begining classes for the Javelin, but that either here nor there because I was attached to a line platoon and never had the opprotunity to use the Javelin in real world situation. I will tell you though, I do have found memories of my SMAW.

Welcome to the party Devil-dog. Tie up those boots and grab your rifle brother, plenty of high value targets (trolls) rooming free on the survivalistboards. Again Semper Fi and feel free to drop me a line anytime. Fighting liberal here in cyber space is almost as fun and the real thing.

Thanks Ted...I'd be glad to be your friend.

To add to the irony of that thread, I was raised in a Protestant family who had little to no church upbringing other than a very, very simple and basic knowledge of Christ (my parents are not church-goers.) I was strongly Agnostic during my teenage years and did not come closer to Christ until I entered the Marine Corps. When my wife and I started having children, we decided to raise them in "her" (the Catholic) church. We went to Mass off and on for several more years when she realized that she'd been baptized, but never confirmed. I knew that I'd never received either baptism nor confirmation. Four years ago, we took care of those details. I used to have some very false, pre-conceived notions about the Mother Church, and all were based on ignorance (my own) and twisted facts.
